My OTHER hobby (yes there is life beyon miniatures)

Very rarely I do have a life beyond miniatures. I danced all through my childhood, and after a 7 year gap took it up again in the last year or so. Here I am with my jazz class, performing for my city's Halloween celebration. It was freezing!
You can't see much of me as, although I'm in the front a lot, I'm the opposite corner to the cameraman. In case you're wondering, I am the one in the red dress with the 'day of the dead' inspired makeup. Here's me looking a little scary afterwards:
I had a lot of fun dancing in public and scaring small children!

Halloween Miniatures

It's that time of year when we find an excuse to wear as much black make-up as we can find, and eat all the candy in sight! It's Halloween! I'm not usually very into Halloween as my mother is French and never celebrated it when I was a kid. Plus being in the UK, trick or treating was not a very commo thing when I was younger. But that doesn't mean I can't get into the spirit (pun intended!) of things now. So here are some Halloween miniatures, and enough candy to keep even the most demanding trick or treater satisfied. No TPing my dollhouse!

I was making some miniature eggs when I had an accident...

This is pretty representative of what happens every time I am allowed unsupervised in the kitchen.

Wishing it was Summer already...

I don't really like boiling hot weather, and yet as soon as I see the first of the autumn leaves fall to the ground, I'm already mourning the passing of summer. I must have been subconsciously longing for the arrival of June, when I made these miniatures last month.

Luckily chocolates are suitable all year round!
